About the company:
Global medical technology company that is focused on improving drug delivery, enhancing the diagnosis of infectious diseases and cancers, and advancing drug discovery. BD develops, manufactures and sells medical supplies, devices, laboratory instruments, antibodies, reagents and diagnostic products.

Key responsibilities on the job:

  • *Provide product and applications support for end users and distributors throughout the Russia and CIS region;
  • * Provide in-house and on-site trainings (basic or advanced) for customers.
  • *Provide internal training for BD and distributor sales reps and application specialists.
  • *Provide intensive and ongoing coaching and development for BD and distributor application specialist, including regular support.
  • *Provide demonstrations of existing & new products to customers (end users & distributors).
  • *Support Sales Managers in launching new products.
  • *Participating in country workshops, seminar exhibitions or trade shows.
  • *Answering customer’s questions about product, applications, and software and instrument problems.
  • *Promote best practice and solutions to key opinion leaders and key decision leaders in relation to features, advantages and benefits of company's solutions. Such activities will be closely aligned to sales strategies and in close cooperation with sales managers.
  • *Coordinate and manage complaint handling for all CIS territories.

The best candidate is:

  • *Will ideally be educated to Degree level, either in microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry or medicine. Alternative qualifications could be considered, dependant upon professional experience.
  • *Will have at least 3 years within a hospital or university microbiology laboratory. Will have a sound knowledge in bacterial identification and susceptibility testing and exposure to IT/technology. Additional commercial/marketing experience would be an advantage.
  • *Fluency in English is essential. Demonstrates a high degree of self-motivation and a drive to achieve results. Will demonstrate the potential and willingness to take on increasing levels of responsibility. Able to undertake extensive and frequent travel throughout the CIS and occasional travel to Europe.
  • *Demonstrates: Highly talented in coaching and teaching skills, Strong focus on customer support, Commitment to teamwork and co-operation whilst being able to operate independently and self sufficiently, Proven ability to develop and maintain excellent customer relationships at all levels, Excellent influencing skills, International outlook and cultural sensitivity, Accepts personal responsibility and has high ethical values.
