Key responsibilities on the job:
- *Provide an adequate technical service to corrugated board customers including customer trials with company products, co-operating and co-ordinating those activities with the sales managers.
- *Technical support of specific projects on new products and equipment (glue kitchens) at corrugated board customers.
- *Provide the Company with accurate and up-to date information on the local corrugated board market (Application of company's products and competition).
- *Define local market needs/trends to indentify new products/applications.
- *Innovate on the field of starch applications for corrugated board industry including pilot and laboratory trials.
- *Contribute to ideas pool with starch application ideas.
- *Maintain customer application database. Define and implement customer segmentation tools on the corrugated board market.
- *Keep up-to-date competence in order to meet the market demand.
The best candidate has:
- *Technical degree in engineering.
- *Practical experience at corrugated board plants (min 5 years) in a technical role preferably with involvement in starch applications.
- *Excellent interpersonal skills, good communication skills and intercultural skills.
- *Basic English spoken and written.
- *PC knowledge (MS office, AutoCad).
- *Motivation, entrepreneurial interest and leadership skills that can be integrated into the current team.
- *Ability to understand and quantify commercial opportunities for customer projects.
